     Trio Equipment Company was founded in 1988 when the current President, Freddi M. Abatti, Paul Cameron, and Alex Abatti, Jr. decided to start a company to provide custom forage harvest services. They rented the old House and Haskell Shop/Shade south of Seeley, CA. and purchased the used tractors and balers from Thelma Haskell, Gib and Elmer House.

     Their first customers were Bill Young and Charlie Bowles of Calipatria along with Phil Rutherford in addition to Paul Cameron. Freddi did the baling, repaired the farm equipment with a few employees while his sister, Alice, did the accounting, billing and payroll. 

     With time, Trio Equipment Company also began to farm forage crops in the 1990's. During the past 30 years, Trio Equipment Company's roots continued to grow and expand. Although Trio Equipment Company provides custom farm work for farmers who do not have the equipment or require assistance during the peak harvest season, Trio Equipment Company's primary focus is growing its various crops:
